Non Surgical Labiaplasty

Aviva Scarless Labiaplasty

The Aviva scarless labiaplasty is a non-surgical treatment that shrinks and reduces the labia and vulvar tissue with minimal discomfort and downtime. The Aviva by InMode uses radiofrequency to heat the tissue to significantly reduce the size and/or decrease laxity without surgery.

What does Aviva treat?

Aviva is an elective cosmetic gynecological procedure that treats the labia and vulvar tissue including the labia majora, labia minora, clitoral hood, perineum, opening of the vagina, and mons pubis. Dr Scott Buckner uses this radiofrequency device to heat and sculpt tissue to reduce size, treat unevenness and improve laxity.

Every woman’s anatomy is different and childbirth, pregnancy, hormonal changes, and aging all play a role in the health and appearance of the labia and vulvar tissue. Aviva helps women improve confidence, sexual satisfaction, and comfort in fitted clothing with minimal downtime or discomfort.

What to expect with aviva

Prior to treatment day, we will see you for a consultation with Dr. Buckner. During these visits we will determine if you are a good candidate for Aviva. Our team offers a variety of other non-surgical devices including vaginal rejuvenation treatments for urinary leakage, vaginal laxity, vaginal dryness and other feminine wellness concerns. If it is determined that you are a good candidate for Aviva, we will schedule your treatment with Dr. Buckner.

During your in-office Aviva treatment, Dr. Buckner will make a small entry point into the skin and will guide a small hand piece under the skin which delivers radiofrequency. The radiofrequency energy stimulates collagen and elastin production to build and tighten the tissue.

You will be asked to arrive early to allow time for numbing of the area. We use a topical numbing cream that helps minimize discomfort. Other pain-control options are available including Pro-Nox and sublingual Dysuvia. Pro-Nox is a patient-controlled inhaled analgesia system that delivers a 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide mixture for the relief of pain and anxiety. The effects of Pro-Nox wear off in 10-15 minutes allowing patients to resume normal activity right away including driving. Sublingual Dysuvia is a sublingual pill that alleviates pain and anxiety and can only be administered in a controlled medical setting. Patients receiving sublingual Dysuvia cannot drive following treatment and must make arrangements ahead of time for a driver on the day of treatment.

Following treatment expect mild discomfort, swelling, and redness for 1-2 weeks following treatment. Over-the-counter pain medication such as Tylenol may be used to alleviate any discomfort post-treatment. Avoid tampons and sexual intercourse for 2 weeks following treatment and avoid hot baths, hot tubs and swimming pools for 1 week following treatment.

While most patients notice a significant improvement in 3 months following treatment, full results are typically seen at 6 months post-treatment.
